Insulation Coordination studies – QLD

Overview

C5 was awarded the role of lead transient assessment engineers for the development of Western Downs Green Power Hub major Solar Farm in QLD.

The Problem

Our client engaged C5 to undertake Transient analysis using insulation coordination techniques for the proposed new Western Downs Solar Farm development. To meet compliance with the stringent criteria of IEC 60071, AS 1824 and client specific standards; C5 used our expertise in this field of engineering to develop detailed Frequency dependent modelling to validate the primary design. A number of service providers were engaged for varying portions of the scope and design inputs, which C5 facilitated net positive outcomes to meet the project delivery.
